Matan Diamonds LTD

Matan Diamonds Ltd CEO and president Jacob Katz got into the diamond industry in 1961, as a hardworking junior cutter and polisher in a diamond workshop, within a team of 20. In 1964-1967 Jacob served in the Israeli army but when he finished is service he came back to work at the diamonds industry.

Matan Diamonds Ltd- The beggining:

In 1970, Jacob got married and after one year he opened Matzn Diamonds Ltd. Jacob realized that he need to use his high skills then he create his own diamond manufacturing business with the money he saved. The business has since grown from a one-man venture into a full-fledged, growing diamond producing company.

The new generation:

Tomer, Jacob son, joined the business in 2000 to help their proud father run Matan Diamonds Ltd.

After short time, Tomer grew up in the indusry and wanted to learn more so he started his journy with production in the diamonds factory. He learnd the process of cutting, polishing and more.

Gil, Jacob son and Tomer brother, joined to the business in 2010, right after his army service. He came young and with passion to learn and to growing up in the diamonds industry.

Gil learned the wholesale market in Israel and the retail+wholesale in the US.

Together, Tomer and Gil, were instrumental in the expansion of Matan Diamonds Ltd diamond collection, with specialty in rounds, fancy shape and fancy colors. In addition, the two sons improved business management practices and customer collaboration.

Matan Diamonds Ltd are working today with certified diamonds(mostly GIA) and non-certified, high hand and bread and butter goods.
